Wandering Bride Ghost Of Holmes Beach

One of my favorite local legends is that of a female ghost who has been spotted as far back as during WW11 on Holmes beach staring out into the sea as if looking for a lost love, perhaps waiting for her husband to return from the war? Legend has it that after wandering the beach a bit, the woman walks into the ocean to about waist level and suddenly turns into a sort of morning mist; the mist then follows the shore south where it drifts to other nearby beaches where it then turns into a dark mist and eventually fades away.  It is said that the phenomena of the wandering beach bride in Holmes beach have been reported in some navy charts as far back as during the time of World War II when they were protecting the area from Nazi submarines, and even the navy was unable to explain the mist phenomena that was spotted on Holmes beach.

Autographs and Cute Horror Merch!

If you know me and or have read this blog enough, I am sure you know by now that I have an unhealthy obsession with the Paranormal Activity franchise; I have binged the series several times, probably could recite every line word for word! anyways I digress.  I got this poster autographed by Katie Featherston, and I'm fucking ecstatic! I also got this adorable little purse that, even though it is a little too small for all the crap I carry in my purse, I still love that it is a gremlin purse. I really wish they had more horror-themed bags like traditional ones.  Stay tuned to my next post about my newly purchased Dybbuk box from eBay and its frightening backstory and strange occurrences in my home!
