According to Hardee County Sheriff's, "Once Albritton was in custody, officers located three victims inside the home covered in blood. One of the victims stated they were afraid to flee because Albritton would pick up the hatchet any time they tried to move. All three victims were transported to medical facilities."
There aren't many details about what this monster did to the victims inside his home to cause them to be covered in blood, but I imagine it was pretty gruesome. Obviously, this isn't the first time this animal has attacked others. He was convicted of murder 25 years ago, but details about that aren't immediately available. However, it seems like some of the victim's families have publicly commented that their loved ones were murdered by Albritton. One commenter who may or may not know the victim stated:
When you rape the dead for five days after they were murdered it tends to leave a lot of broken hearts it leaves scars and bitterness the precious soul that He stole should have been his last I actually spoke to him about forgiveness and Jesus in which he threw up a laughing emotion Jesus is the only one who can save he held 3 people, hostage, before and murdered one and threatened to take his life so they spared him and they may even spare him again but if He doesn't find Jesus one thing is for sure there is no place in Heaven for Him ...I was told he had been stabbed to death after he got out of prison and went back to jail...Prayers going up this world is so different today than I ever remember it to be and it sure isn't getting any better
While an actual family member stated the following:
Now that he's hurt a law enforcement office guess you guys will make sure he stays locked up this time???? Obviously, it was ok to release him after he murdered my cousin.
My condolences to families who have been victimized by this lunatic that obviously was not supposed to be released. I pray they keep this dog meat behind bars before he hurts more people again. It kind of gives me the chills to know that I may have passed this monster and not even have known it; he has been walking around free since last summer...that's an all too frightening concept. Definitely makes you think about all the murderers and potential serial killers out there walking around, holding conversations with you, and bagging your groceries.
