I just had the most amazing "dream" of being on an extraterrestrial spaceship. And I looked outside the window. And I could breathe and feel the air? Then I thought, maybe the ship had its own atmosphere. Anyway, they let me see how the ship was powered. It had this light thing outside of the ship, and either the ship was rotating around it or the light was rotating around it. But I could also feel it moving forward. Then there was a telepathic (?) announcement, and we were told to please go back to our seats if we were not seated, and suddenly you could feel this pull... It was so strong and then like it let go, like one of those cars you played with as a kid, and you put it on the ground and pulled back and let it go... Other stuff happened too, but this was my favorite part.  We went about a year into the future. My husband then woke up and said he dreamt we were on a navy ship (or base on an island) and he looked at me and said you had a UFO encounter, didn't you? Tha...

You definitely enjoy horror and the paranormal if you're reading this site; I know I do! You probably spend a lot of time watching paranormal videos on YouTube. But a worrying pattern has caught my attention. Anyone out there ever notice how frequently these paranormal videos show people either asleep or simply relaxing and going about their business then suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere, something or some invisible force takes the unsuspecting person by their leg or legs and tries to drag them off? Where are these ghosts trying to take living, breathing humans, if the footage's snippets are authentic? Where exactly would we be being dragged to if these spirits were to be successful in dragging people? Do they want to entice us into their world? to the realm of ghosts and spirits? or a much darker location? (The title of the movie Drag Me To Hell comes to mind.) Fortunately, it appears that the majority of ghosts—if not all of them—do not appear to have the power or energy...

 I have seen and loved many horror movies, from the classics like Halloween and Friday The 13th to Bad Ben, Insidious, and The conjuring. While the classics will always be the best and most loved horror movies, Paranormal Activity has a spot in my dark, decrepit soul.  I mean...I even have a signed poster! If you have ever driven through Tampa, you have undoubtedly come across the Sulphur Springs water tower; you seriously can not miss it. It stands 214 feet (65 m) tall, with a foundation 45 feet (14 m) deep, making it visible from nearby Interstate 275 and much of the rest of Sulphur Springs. It's located in the historic district of Sulphur Springs and was built in 1927. I've always heard stories of the water tower, and one day, I was given this book by my dear husband as a birthday gift because he knows how much I love the paranormal and Tampa bay, and I was thrilled when I saw the story about the Sulphur Springs water tower!  While quite striking and beautiful, the tower has a very dark history, from a devastating intentional flood caused by the destruction of a dam in 19333 (no loss of life), reports of balls of light circling the tower and its surrounding area to countless suicides, the energy around the building is dark. We've all seen photos of ghost orbs, some say it's paranormal, and others say it's just dust. Many online debate the authenticity of ghost orbs in photographs. Some people believe that orbs are a sign of an otherworldly presence nearby. They might be spirits or ghosts of those who used to live in the area where the photo was taken. Others believe that they could be extraterrestrial beings or spirits from another dimension. Ghost orbs are one of the most popular types of paranormal images. They are usually white, round, and blurry. However, some people believe that they are just dust or bugs on the camera lens. Ghost orbs can sometimes be seen in photographs, but they are more commonly found in video recordings. One of my favorite local legends is that of a female ghost who has been spotted as far back as during WW11 on Holmes beach staring out into the sea as if looking for a lost love, perhaps waiting for her husband to return from the war? Legend has it that after wandering the beach a bit, the woman walks into the ocean to about waist level and suddenly turns into a sort of morning mist; the mist then follows the shore south where it drifts to other nearby beaches where it then turns into a dark mist and eventually fades away.  It is said that the phenomena of the wandering beach bride in Holmes beach have been reported in some navy charts as far back as during the time of World War II when they were protecting the area from Nazi submarines, and even the navy was unable to explain the mist phenomena that was spotted on Holmes beach.

If you know me and or have read this blog enough, I am sure you know by now that I have an unhealthy obsession with the Paranormal Activity franchise; I have binged the series several times, probably could recite every line word for word! anyways I digress.  I got this poster autographed by Katie Featherston, and I'm fucking ecstatic! I also got this adorable little purse that, even though it is a little too small for all the crap I carry in my purse, I still love that it is a gremlin purse.
